About us
JBA Appliances is the trading name of Jhonny's Appliances (ABN 58 256 267 496), Unit 9 / 33 Holbeche Road, Arndell Park NSW 2148 ("we", "us", "our"). In these terms, "you" means the customer.
Prices and GST
All prices are in Australian dollars and include GST unless stated otherwise. Prices and stock can change without notice. We'll confirm the price before you pay. If we've made an obvious pricing error, we'll contact you before going ahead.
Orders and payment
You can buy online, in store or over the phone, and pay online, in store or on delivery. Online card payments are processed securely by Stripe. We never see or store your full card details.
An order is accepted when we confirm it and payment (or an agreed deposit) is received. [Confirm deposit and hold policy]
Delivery
Delivery of new JBA fridges is free within Sydney. We'll agree a delivery window with you. Please make sure someone over 18 is home, the path is clear, and the space is ready. Full details are on our delivery page.

Risk and ownership
Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery or collection. Ownership passes to you once we've received full payment.
Checking your goods
Please check your appliance for visible damage when it's delivered and let us know within [__] days. This doesn't limit your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
Warranty and your rights
New JBA fridges come with a manufacturer's warranty of 2 years, plus 10 years on the compressor, on top of your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Details are in our Refunds, Returns & Warranty policy.
Australian Consumer Law
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
Second-hand goods
Second-hand appliances are sold in used condition. We inspect, test and clean them before sale and provide a [__ month] warranty. The consumer guarantees still apply, taking into account the age, condition and price of the goods.
Repairs and servicing
We'll give you a price before starting any repair. A $95 call-out fee applies. Our repair work is covered by a 1 month warranty. Items left with us for repair and not collected within [__] days of notice may be dealt with as permitted by NSW law.
Our liability
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law. To the extent permitted by law, we're not liable for indirect or consequential loss outside those guarantees.

We take care to keep this website accurate, but product images may be illustrative and specifications can change. Please confirm anything important with us before you buy.

Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
